Christine Brehm is a Florida Registered Paralegal and serving the firm’s Trust & Estate Planning and Administration clients. Chris is responsible for all phases and aspects of estate and trust administration, including preparation of Court pleadings, marshalling and maintaining inventories, compilation of Federal Estate Tax information and fiduciary income tax information, post-mortem planning, and Federal Estate Tax Return preparation. On the estate planning side, Chris assists in all aspects of planning, including the review and preparation of documents. She prepares corporate and real estate documents as well, especially as related to trust and estate planning and administration.
Chris joined Matheson PA in January 2022 after retiring as the Senior Case Manager and Supervisor of the State of Florida’s Eighteenth Judicial Circuit Probate Division. From 1990-2011, she worked as an estate and trust planning and administration paralegal for both large state-wide and boutique law firms. Chris’ combined experience as a paralegal and Senior Case Manager and Supervisor, knowledge of Florida Statutes and familiarity with court procedures and requirements provides Matheson PA and our clients with significant added value.
Chris is a graduate of Broome Community College, Binghamton, NY. Her certifications include: National Center for State Courts, Institute for Court Management – CCM, Certified Court Manager; National Center for State Courts, Institute for Court Management – CCE, Certified Court Executive; and Criminal Justice Information System Security & Awareness Training - Level 2.
Chris resides in Brevard County, Florida, with her husband, Eric. Her interests include traveling, boating and running.
